Prominent International Women Artists, 18th-21st Centuries, from Europe, Asia, Russia, and Latin America
with Joan Lipton

We will begin with the earliest female artists, who, though they were as admired as their male counterparts, were omitted from art history soon after. They paved the way for the next century’s Rosa Bonheur, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Camille Claudel, Suzanne Valadon and so many more.

Thereafter, you will meet Gabriele Munter, Natalia Goncharova, Louise Bourgeois and Yayoi Kusama as we continue to consider how birthplaces and particular lifestyles in uenced these and other artists.
