Hear fascinating anecdotes of early collectors and their prized possessions as early 16th-century Venice gave rise to the birth of art collecting as we know it. Frederick Ilchman is the Chair for Art of Europe at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, he received his B.A. in art history from Princeton University and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. He is the National Chairman of Save Venice, Inc.
