After winning the coveted 2017 American Pianists Award grand prize, and receiving the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Drew Petersen became a fast-rising star in classical music. The young American pianist is a sought-after soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Petersen has been praised for commanding performances of repertoire ranging from Bach, to Chopin, to Elliott Carter. The daunting program for his Four Arts solo recital debut will include Ravel’s musical fantasy, Gaspard de la Nuit, and all of the 24 Preludes of Chopin.
