American Farmer Day at Preschool Story Time

Begins at 10:30 am

Visit the Four Arts Farm, complete with animals and a growing garden! This special story time takes place in the Philip Hulitar Sculpture Garden and Pavilion.

You’re invited to visit the mini-farm with pigs, chickens, goats, bunnies and more presented by Pet ‘n Parties.

Afterwards, learn how to plant a tasty garden with a take home garden kit by Sproutbrite.

Sproutbrite introduces preschoolers to healthy foods, promotes agriculture awareness, teaches nurturing skills, and encourages children to create a greener world.

Note: There will be no arts & crafts activity on this day. In the event of rain this program will be canceled. No buses permitted.

Story Time at the library is a wonderful way to capture the imagination and introduce your child to a love of reading. The Children’s Library offers free story time programs, specially designed for the age of your child(ren.) Preschool Story Time is for children 4 years of age and younger. All Children’s Library story times are thematic with stories, shared songs, and arts and crafts projects addressing the program’s educational theme.
