Exquisite purses, shoes, jewelry, headpieces, and dresses will be showcased in this illustrated lecture. Françoise Weeks is recognized for her innovations in wearable floral art and will share her knowledge of the techniques and material sourcing. Memories of vacations foraging in the Swiss Alps led Weeks to innovate her trademark Woodland design. She will share her passion for keenly observing nature with deeply honed architectural skills. You will learn how to see, source, scale, and shape natural works of art. Françoise Weeks, born in Belgium, has infused her work with a European reverence for flowers and nature. Combined with creativity and mechanical ingenuity, she has crystalized her singular style of Textural Woodlands and Botanical Haute Couture pieces, garnering a global following. Her dynamic work has been published in Nacre, Fusion Flowers, Modern Wedding Flowers, Hu©ington Post, Flutter, and Millieu.
