Each tasting includes “Not- so-light-bites” by Chris Marshall of Hampton Forks and Oceana Coffee will provide coffee to finish the evening.
January 21 – Revenge of the Mad Scientist
Join us as we delve into the world of blended wines. Test your skill as a winemaker as you will be able to create your own blend and compete for the title of Best Wine Maker in Palm Beach! The blending seminar starts the evening, so do not be late.
March 25 – Grape vs. Grain
Howard’s long time friend Adam Fine (Cicerone Beer Scholar, and owner of Native Brewing and Tarpon River Brewing) will bring his best brews for this wine vs. beer showdown! This will be a match up for the ages, as we determine what Palm Beach prefers, great wine or outstanding beer? Could we see every beverage adored equally? Join us to find out!
April 15 – Bertani, Bertani, Bertani, Oy
Bertani is a very special winery in Italy. They also own several wineries from Tuscany to the Veneto. We will explore many of their wines from San Leonino, Terre del Palio and Tenuta Novare in this tasting. Will we see Brunello, Amarone or Supertuscans? Maybe all of them? Be there to find out!
Howard Freedland’s passion for wine began while he was working for Binny’s Beverage Depot in Chicago, and continued with pioneering a brokerage firm called BulletProof Wine and Spirits. He is currently the southeast regional manager for Seaview Imports.
