Nazi Art Theft and its Consequences

This lecture traces the Nazi looting of European Jews and elucidates the role of art dealers and museums in the expropriation campaigns of the regime. Particular emphasis will be given to Hildebrand Gurlitt, who was a patron of modern art for the Nazis in the 1920s.
