KAREN STONE TALWAR
We will start our day with a luncheon at a home that focuses on American Decorative Arts. We will be joined by antique jewelry experts, Francesca Cartier Brickell, granddaughter of Jean-Jacques Cartier, and Siddharth Kasliwal, Gem Palace. The owners have long collected American Rococo (high style) Philadelphia and New York Furniture, dating from 1750- 1795 with sophisticated carvings and cartouches. Many of the paintings and other decorations revolve around the American Revolution and an extensive collection of Hudson River School Master Painters to the American Impressionists.
Lunch will be followed by an insider’s visit to the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art and Antique Show. Karen Stone Talwar, founder of Adventures in Art, and a firm believer that jewelry is wearable art, will spearhead our tour, making sure we are introduced to the show’s best jewelers while trying on some truly outstanding pieces.
Includes transportation, ticket, and luncheon.
Due to limited space, reservations are required for every program. Four Arts members must make reservations to programs, even if they are admitted at no charge.
Please note, no refunds for lectures are permitted. Exchanges or transfers for a lecture of equal value within a season are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
