Paul Tudor Jones is founder, Co-Chairman, and the controlling principal of Tudor Investment Corporation, which he formed in 1980. The Tudor Group, consists of affiliated companies engaged in trading across global fixed income, equity, currency and commodity markets for international clients. Exemplary of how created wealth is nobly placed in the service of the independent sector, among his many philanthropies are the Robin Hood Foundation, which he founded, and which fights poverty in New York City. He is Chairman of JUST Capital Foundation, which promotes ethics in the business and manufacturing workplace, and he has a special dedication to nature conservation, as co-founder and current board member of The Everglades Foundation Inc., former Chairman of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and founder of African Community & Conservation Foundation. He is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and was awarded an honorary doctorate for his achievements in business and philanthropy by the University of Glasgow (2014)
