Drypoint etching is a great medium for artists who love to draw! In this workshop, artists will learn how to create a drypoint etching; a very direct intaglio method of printmaking. From Rembrandt to Edward Hopper, painters have especially taken to this method because of the range of value and quality of line. Beginner to advanced artists will acquire drypoint etching and inking techniques, and print an edition of prints on a small etching press.
Presented in conjunction with the art exhibition Rembrandt: The Sign and The Light.
