George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) is a major figure of Western theatre — a playwright, polemicist, political thinker, social reformer, wit, and, above all, an Irishman who in a long career infuriated, delighted, and challenged his readers and audiences worldwide.

George Bernard Shaw, The Man – March 23 at 11:00 a.m.

Pygmalion screening March 24 at 5 p.m.

George Bernard Shaw, The Plays – March 25 at 2:30 p.m.

Richard Digby Day returns to The Four Arts to share with you his enthusiasm for Shaw and his plays. Digby Day is a Vice President of The Shaw Society and has professionally directed more of Shaw’s plays than any living director.
