A memoir is part of your legacy and a gift to yourself. To write a memoir about an important period in your life asks for the eye of the journalist and the soul of the novelist.

So few of us know how our parents thought and felt. In a memoir, you can view yourself as a character in the events of your own life, your thoughts and feelings, your strengths and vulnerabilities, and see them with compassion and wisdom.

Myles Ludwig is both author and journalist with over four decades of experience as a magazine and book editor, published writer and educator. He will show you how to overcome the common fears of writing and confidence-building techniques to help you craft your memoir in your own style. This is a workshop based on encouragement, not criticism, and it balances on the twin fulcrums of trust and willingness of all concerned.

Myles Ludwig has worked in the media business for nearly half a century as an author of fiction and non-fiction books, a magazine and book publisher, editor, art director, writer, photographer, newspaper reporter, arts and culture columnist, advertising copywriter, screenwriter and narrative consultant on feature and documentary films and university professor of communication studies.
