March 1, 8, 22
Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Roll up your sleeves and put on a painter’s smock for this immersion color workshop, The Power of Color: Decorating with Paint. Using the least expensive tool in a decorator’s war chest, this workshop will teach students how to create successful color schemes for interior spaces, plus explore the myriad of magic tricks color can have on the visual perception of space: making certain rooms look more spacious, more intimate, less awkward, etc.
Gaining such practical knowledge as the importance of sheen and how to bring fabrics and textiles into the color mix, students will also create their individual “signature” colors and mix custom color palettes for current and studio projects.
Led by ASID interior designer and academic, Kevin Byrne, NCIDQ, IDEC, The Power of Color Workshop combines theory, practice and 2019 trends into a unique color experience for design aficionados!
Kevin Byrne is an interior designer with a residential design practice that spans the eastern seaboard from Southern Florida to the East end of Long Island.
