The Philip Hulitar Sculpture Garden is an urban retreat where art, man, and nature intertwine. Designed by and named for American couturier and Palm Beach resident Philip Hulitar, the 2.2-acre garden opened to the public in 1980. It is an outdoor gallery that houses sculptures from The Four Arts permanent art collection and contains works by some of the world’s most influential artists, including Jim Dine, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and Philip Jackson. The landscape architecture firm Morgan Wheelock, Inc. translated Hulitar’s vision into a park-like setting in the mid 2000s to further enhance the presentation of the sculptures on display.
